In the aftermath of the Second World War, Port and Kit Moresby arrive by ship in North Africa. from North American homeland, Port is looking for inspiration and a way to save his marriage with Kit. Accompanied by the young George Tunner, who has his eye on Kit. In the foreign country, the couple only grow further apart; Port and Kit each lose themselves individually in boundless experiences of intoxication. The couple, penetrate deeper into the Sahara.
